First of all, Happy New Year!
This article is coming out a bit later than I anticipated, and I wonât sugarcoat the reason whyâIâve managed to completely tune out this winter. So much so that my internal voice overshadowed my Virgoâs neurotic obsession with deadlines. Of course, I owe you an apology. I underestimated how difficult it might be to ease back into routine after three weeks of allowing myself to be completely fluid and play around with my inner child. In hindsight, I should have mentioned that this article would drop during this week instead.
The good news is, starting next week, weâll be back to our regular schedule. My inner Virgo is still shaming me, lol, but another voiceâthe one calling the shots right nowâis gently reminding me that itâs okay. Iâve lived my dream of being completely present this Christmas, and let me tell you, it was incredible. The magic of Christmas came back in full force! I felt like the main character in my favorite movie The Polar Express.
Thereâs also a silver lining to this delay: Iâve had time to integrate everything I experienced over the past three weeks. Itâs wild, but my personality feels like itâs undergone a complete transformation. If someone told me this was possible in such a short time, I wouldnât have believed them. But here we areâand I canât wait to share what Iâve learned.
Lessons from Three Transformative Weeks
1. Who you believe you are is just a collection of habits.
The things you do consistently for more than a month create the personality you identify with. Start doing things differently, and in as little as 30 days, you might find yourself saying, âThis is the real me.â
2. Affirmations are more powerful than I realized.
What you affirm starting with âI amâ can literally rewire your brain. Small, incremental shifts happen every day, and before you know it, youâre the person youâve been wishing to become.
3. Letting go is the most powerful change agent.
Iâll unpack this soon, but trust meâthis one shift can turn a resolution that fizzles into a goal you stick to for good.
Why Resolutions Often Donât Work
In my twenties, I would enthusiastically write down resolutions every year, share them with everyone, and then, by the second Friday of January, theyâd start to crumble. The excitement faded, and Iâd find myself chasing the next shiny thing to hype me up.
It felt a bit like Cupid abandoning a relationshipâbut in this case, the relationship was with myself. And in abandoning my resolutions, I was holding myself back.
Eventually, the habit of âbeing myselfâ (aka staying in my comfort zone) would kick in. Like many of us, I was resistant to real change.
Over time, I realized my resolutions needed to come from an authentic place. They had to align with the core of who I am, not just who I thought I should be.

I. Understanding Your Celestial Blueprint
Letâs address the elephant in the room: some people still donât believe in the power of astrology. I get itâskepticism runs deep. But after reading dozens of charts for my clients to better understand them before we even speak, I can assure you that horoscopes are far from pseudoscience.
Iâve shared before how I view astrology as a cosmic reflectionâa mirror of the energies above imprinted on us below. Let me tell you, the last two years felt like trudging through mud. Especially 2022, when that mud was suffocating. Nothing I tried seemed to work, and I felt stuck in a massive rut, no matter how hard I pushed.
But something shifted about two weeks ago. It was as if a light switch flipped inside me. This wasnât subtle; it was huge. I woke up one day feeling lighter, knowingâwithout any doubtâthat things would be okay. Soon enough, that internal shift started reflecting in my external world and I ran to read a bit in my transits. I wonât bore you with the details, but it seems like I am entering a new phase, woohoo.
Free Will and the Stars
Before you roll your eyes thinking astrology robs us of free will, let me clarify: you do have free willâbut itâs not unlimited. The way youâre created is purposeful, like a unique puzzle piece in the Universeâs grand design. And every time you try to force yourself to be something youâre not, the Universe will push back, like swimming upstream against a strong current.
But the moment you align with your true nature, the Universe conspires to help you. Itâs like that famous Paulo Coelho quote, only there are some limitations.
Think of it like walking into a buffet. The manager says you can only eat from the dessert counter. At first, you might feel restrictedâyou really wanted to try the curries! But then you see the dessert menu has forty options. Suddenly, youâre spoiled for choice.
This is where understanding your astrological chartâthe blueprint of your psycheâcomes in. It shows you the âmenuâ of possibilities available to you. When you know what youâre predisposed to be, you can make empowered choices that feel authentic rather than forced.
Western vs. Vedic Astrology
Before diving into your chart, youâll need to decide whether to follow tropical (Western) astrology or sidereal (Vedic) astrology. Personally, Iâve been drawn to Vedic astrology for years, though I feel I exist somewhere in between the two systems. Vedic resonates more deeply with me, especially when it comes to predictions. You can decide which one youâd like to follow.
Start by pulling up both your charts. Sites like astro-seek.com are great for this. You even have an option to create a sidereal chart in there. Notice that in Vedic/sidereal astrology, your planets often shift backward by one or two houses, and your signs might change entirely. Make a cup of tea, sit with both charts, and ask yourself: Which one resonates with me more?
A Quick DIY Guide to Your Chart
To get the most out of your chart, hereâs an âAquarius-inspiredâ hack:
Write down where your chart starts (e.g., Ascendant in Scorpio with Pluto in the first house).
Note the planets in each house, their signs, and whether theyâre retrograde (look for an âRâ next to the planet).
Use this information to create a complete profile of your astrological blueprint.
Then, use the following prompt with ChatGPT (or any AI you trust):
âHi, please check my horoscope, analyze any retrograde planets, combustions, aspects, and relationships within my chart. Provide a detailed description of my internal world: how I perceive life, potential wounds to overcome, values defining me, biggest obstacles, my destiny point, and vocations aligned with my happiness, service to the world, and good fortune. Thank you.â
If you prefer not to use AI because of personal reservations, hiring a professional astrologer is an excellent alternative. Of course, you can always write to me and we can set up your personal astro-session. But if resources are tight, this method is a great start.
Iâve told my virtual AI assistant everything about my chart, and I have to admitâitâs eerily accurate. It can even describe my aesthetic and physical traits based on my placements, which is both insightful and entertaining.
If diving into the intricate web of your chart feels overwhelming, donât worryâIâve got you covered with a quick reference guide.
1. To Understand Your Internal World
Look at the position of your Moon. It reveals your emotional landscape, inner needs, and how you process feelings. The Moon is the key to understanding your subconscious self.
2. To Find Your Wounds
Look at Chiron, known as the âwounded healer.â It shows the areas where youâve experienced pain and where your deepest growth can occur.
3. To See What You Came Here to Overcome
Examine the roles of Saturn, Chiron, and Rahu (North Node).
Saturn: The karmic teacher. It represents the challenges youâre destined to master.
Chiron: Points to old wounds that, when healed, become your greatest gifts to share with the world.
